The Bay of Fundy has been identified as one of the "7 Forgotten Natural Wonders of the World" for having the highest tides on Earth. The immense Fundy tides have shaped both the culture and the landscape of this special part of the world and visitors may experience both. Walk the ocean floor at low tide, enjoy the thrill of a "tidal bore" rafting adventure, kayak by incredible cliffscapes and sea-stacks, discover fossils, stones and dinasaur bones on a fascinating beach tour, or encounter the legend and lore of "Glooscap" and the aboriginal (Mi'kmaq) people of Nova Scotia.
The Northumberland Strait is renowned for its endless sandy beaches and the warmest salt waters in Atlantic Canada. This rural paradise enjoys a relaxed pace and celebrates some of the finer things in life including long walks on the beach, lobster, fine wine and seaside golf! Tour a vineyard and enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting, experience the ways of old at an historic gristmill, shop a variety of quaint shops, or loaf about on the beach and just enjoy the view. For more information visit www.centralnovascotia.com

We really wanted that blueberry grunt! We seriously considered driving around for hours just to waste time to have it but there was no way of figuring out when Keggers opened. Their hours were not even on their own site. Very frustrating! Had they been open, I am sure the day would have been great but if their hours were so unusual, it should have been printed in the flyer with their PHONE number, not a fax number.
Sandbar had no idea what we were talking about when we mentioned the festival. It began to feel like names were just being thrown out there that might actually have blueberry treats at it. I also went to the Jost Blueberry Wine Festival the weekend before, that will definitely be published on Food Network Canada's site soon although me and my friends were overcharged for their wine.
I am sure there were good events but three in a row means three strikes you are out! I have a disabling illness with an injured shoulder and I STILL went to all those events in tons of pain because I made a promise to go. The least people could do was double check facts and let people know they were participating in the event.
I appreciate your response, thank you so much. It means a lot to me. I was so disappointed, I was looking forward to this event all summer long.
